School's Out!

I don't think I have ever been as excited for a school year to end than I was this year - not when I was a student or a teacher. Thomas was so ready for a break and so was I!

The day before school ended the kindergarten classes had a celebration. I think it was just a ploy see how many mothers they could make cry. Especially when all the kids in Thomas' class sang this song...

For the very first time today.

And now I know it's true.

He insisted on wearing his collar buttoned all the way up for the occasion. We tried to talk him out if it, but he felt he needed to be dressed up.

After the celebration we went to Smashburger and Yogurtland with Grandma. It was a fun morning.
