Obligatory Blog Post

My mom has been hounding me to update the blog. No, she does not live hundreds of miles away. Yes, she sees the kids all the time. Yes, she is my biggest blog fan. And I love her, so I am fulfilling her request. (And I know that you should never start a sentence with and, but It's my blog and obviously I don't follow grammatical rules. Because I am rebellious that way)
So, these are the things I would have blogged about this week...
.
-I have spent countless hours editing pictures from a wedding I shot last week. I am thrilled with the pictures. However, my mouse-arm-shoulder-rib is not. For the second time I have dislocated a rib because of my awful computer posture. Today it hurts. Bad. I am so glad I have a husband who knows a little about physical therapy. I love him.
.
-The hours I have not been editing, I have been reading. I usually don't read. Not because I don't like to. I don't read because everything else gets put aside. In the past week and a half I have read over 1,000 pages. It's sick, I know. And guess how many loads of laundry I have done? one. Only because we wear underware. And guess how many times we had breakfast for dinner this week? three. That, my friends is honesty.
.
- I did manage to take the kids swimming a few times this week. I like to go towards the end of the day so the lifeguard is the one telling us it's time to go. I like to make him the bad guy. This week while I was playing horsey in the pool with Clara, she kept calling me her "big cow". I didn't like that too much.
.
-As far as the picture at the top of the post. That pretty much sums up the personality of my darling little daughter.
.
Life is great. Seriously.

Although your blog post was obligatory, I enjoyed it very much!
What are you reading? I also LOVE to read, but it is one of those pleasures that I rarely get to these days.
I'm excited to see the pictures from the wedding, but I'm sorry your rib hurts. :(
