So I totally shot myself in the foot saying I was going to blog everyday. Who am I kidding?!?!? I am bending the rules and allowing myself to play catch-up.
Day 3
Clara walked right over this and didn't even notice. She left flour foot prints, it wasn't until I told her to be careful that she looked down. Both the kids thought it was pretty funny. I thought it was until I had to clean it up. It's amazing how flour travels.
Tippy wasn't feeling too creative on day 5. He overslept and ran downstairs to get in position before the kids discovered him.
Thomas and I were having a conversation in the car tonight about how much we loved to read. He then said...
"I'm so glad reading was invented. It is way better than TV."

I love when the kids say that. It is so true.
I think you are doing a fabulous job. One big post is just as much fun as one a day and you are busy!
I love, love, love the snow angel. :)
tippy is a cuttie...so is your thomas! i love that picture of him!!!
That pic of Thomas reading is fabulous. Love his take on reading. What a gift to enjoy reading that much!
Our elf left us a bag of mini Reese's tonight and instructions to bake peanut butter blossoms for Santa. He also made a flour angel. Luckily, his is on a baking sheet so it should be easier to clean up.
PS...thanks for the quinoa recipe! Hoping to try it this week.
I love that picture of Thomas. I sincerely hope that my kids feel the same way about reading when they are old enough to read!!
Also, is Tippy your elf? As in elf on a shelf? You have had him doing some very creative things!
I love this. He is so right, and so are you -- These is My Words, is such a good book. I've read it twice. :)
Love your Elf on the Shelf photos. Soooo cute.
