On Monday the kids and I drove out to Nelson, NV. My cute friend and I are doing a swap. I took her family pictures and she in turn is doing some graphic design for me. Nelson, NV is a really cool ghost town, so she told me to bring the kids with us.
The kids were great. They explored the area, kept within reach and held my reflector when I needed them to. What more can you ask for in an assistant? Thomas brought his own camera and went around taking pictures of things he liked. I was quite impressed when I dumped his card on the computer.
I asked him to tell me why he took the pictures.
1. The barn at the top- He told me he took this pictures because it was a farm and it had my favorite drink on it.
2. The windmill - "I liked it because it was a fan, and a windmill."
3. The truck - "I just thought it was cool."
His shadow picture is one of my favorites.
I made them pose for a couple pictures while we were there. This one was my favorite. I told Thomas to put his arm around his sister, but she did it too. They love each other so much.

This place looks amazing. I love seeing the world through his eyes! I should have gotten Eden the kid camera I saw for her birthday cuz that's a great idea. ...oh and I had arranged our children's marriage in my own head a long time ago, so I'm glad you seem to be okay with that! I think Thomas is adorable!

Beautiful, loving photo of your two so-cute little redheads! Waow, you certainly have a budding photographer there. He has a real eye for the subject. The photos were brilliant tell him!

Thomas is such a good little photographer! I'm impressed with the pictures he took and I enjoyed reading the reasons why he took them. That place you went to looks so neat... and the last picture is just precious!
The purple shirt and purple flower looked pretty stunning on Clara, by the way. What a beauty!
