What would you do?

I have a problem. Clara needs a haircut and I just can't bring myself to have it done. If I saw her on the street with any other mom I would think, 'Cut the poor girl's hair, she can't see!' Instead of cutting it, I just try to pull it back in a Bam Bam Flinstone quick do.
BTW...The top left picture is Clara's new trick. If I ask her "What's in your mouth?" She opens it up and shows me. She will even pull out the object if I put my hand out out in front of her.

Don't you own any baby barretts? I mean, really, Amy. You can't cut that beautiful red hair! It would make great little pony tails!

She looks so grown up. Beautiful.

Could she possibly be any cuter? I love her hair! My opinion is she has two options: Bangs... but that might take that part of her hair away from the sides where babes usually don't have thick hair grown in yet. Or keep barretting it and ponytailing it until it grows more to match her sides. You could cut the back and sides so they resemble more of a bob hair cut. Did you really want opinions???? I always have one when it comes to hair.

I so feel your pain! I've been trying to figure out what to do with Emma's hair too! I just can't seem to bring myself to cute it, even if it does hang in her eyes all the time! Good luck, pig tails are so cute...

Caroly,

Thanks for the professional opinion. I was thinking about doing the bang thing with her. I just know I would cut them all catty-wompus if I tried. Maybe I will just keep pulling it back in a pig tail until you come and visit. Then you can give her her first haircut. I'll make it worth your while..

how about an orphan annie perm...that will kink it right up and get it out of her eyes. then she could be annie for halloween too. good luck sewing her that little red dress.

I like the perm idea.

Clara is just so darn cute - hair in her eyes and all. I wouldn't want to cut it either - although I thought the bang idea was pretty good. Either way, I'm sure we'll be seeing pictures of whatever you decide to do! :)
