Tide Pools

(Disclaimer: Sorry if these posts make you feel like I have you trapped in my living room with a slide projector. This blog is our family scrap book.)
One of the reasons we picked Linclon City was because of the Tide Pools. Steve and I had visited them 8 years ago and thought the kids would have fun exploring them.

The kids did pretty well on the way there. I don't know how many times we said, "stop jumping in the puddles." It really was pointless. By the time we were there, Thomas had soaked his shoes and it was a lost cause.

I was kicking myself for only bringing the point and shoot. I could have gotten some great shots with a better lens!

We were really lucky when we got to the pools. Starfish, sea urchins, and crabs galore!
Thomas was a little skittish at first but eventually warmed up to the slimy green sea weed and the little "things" that would squirt every time you took a step.

Both the kids got lucky and had shoulder rides back to the house. Can you tell she was a little tired? The mile back to the house seemed a lot longer than the mile there. She is getting heavy!

Another perfect end to a wonderful day!
