Hi there...to answer your question. I do not have the 24-70. I debated long and hard b/t that and the 17-55 2.8. I went w/the 17-55 b/c I have a crop body and b/c I really wanted a wider angle lens. I find it hard to get all that I want in a shot indoors so I wanted something pretty wide. I am wondering if a 35mm is better than a 50mm for this reason. BUT..I want to get down to 1.4 and then the price goes wayyyy up. :(
